FCA “Athlete” Spotlight…   Tia Weston (Fairdale H.S.)

 I came in FCA as a Freshman and I wasn’t serious about God. I believed, but I wasn’t as close to God as I am today. FCA has helped me to better understand what a Christian is. FCA has helped me realize how much God can do for me and how much He deserves my love and everyone else’s. He helps relieve my worries about getting injured in Track. I just talk with him and ask him to take away my worries and help me to feel good during practice, so I can train hard. I thank him that I’m able to train hard to improve at the sport I love which is Track and I thank him for all he has blessed me with. Now as a Senior, I feel closer to God than ever. I pray more than ever and more importantly I try to live for God and be an all- around good person. My love for God is a great thing and he gives me strength and happiness in my life. Without FCA, I might not have had that.
